Screening comes before the camera.
Most tools photograph first and ask questions later. That produces a confident recommendation for a patient who should not be treated at all. Cutiscan takes the history first, so a contraindication surfaces even if the photographs never happen.

Deliberate omissions
Four things it will never do.
Every one of these was considered and rejected. They are the reason a practitioner can put this report in a patient's hands without qualifying it afterwards.
Generate an after photograph
No morph, no simulation, no AI-rendered result. A patient shown a generated face believes it. The illustrator is manual and watermarked.
Score a face out of a hundred
Every face is asymmetric. A single number tells you nothing clinically and hands the patient a grade they think they failed.
Overlay a golden-ratio mask
Published proportion norms come largely from European cohorts. Laid over an Indian face, they mislabel normal variation as a defect.

Questions
Before you sign up.
Who is allowed to create an account?
Doctors registered with the National Medical Commission or with a State Medical Council. Your registration number, council, qualification and year are captured at sign-up and checked against the certificate you upload. They are then printed on every report you issue, which is what the NMC’s 2023 conduct regulations require. Dental, AYUSH and clinical establishment registrations do not qualify — the clinical report carries injection planes and danger anatomy, and that belongs only with a registered medical practitioner.
Is this a diagnostic tool or a medical device?
No, and it is not marketed as either. Cutiscan produces photographic observations and indicative references to support your consultation. Every quantity, technique and interval shown is a starting reference from general protocols, to be confirmed or revised by you after examining the patient. Clinical responsibility stays entirely with you.
Do you need a clinic to sign up?
No. Your registration is what the account is built on, not the premises. Practise without a registered clinic and reports simply carry your own name and registration rather than a clinic masthead.
What happens to patient photographs?
They are stored against that patient's record so you can retrieve the report later, and they are never used to train any model. Live camera frames used for pose guidance are processed on the device and never transmitted — only the still you choose to keep is sent. You can delete an individual record, or your whole account, at any time.
Will it suggest treatments the clinic doesn't offer?
No. You list your procedures during setup, and the reports draw only from that list. A clinic that does not do thread lifts never sees a thread lift on a report.
Is there a free trial?
No. Cutiscan is a paid tool from the first report, at ₹2,999 a month. You can cancel whenever you like and keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Does it work without an internet connection?
Report generation needs a connection. Capture and the consultation forms work in poor signal, and the report is produced once you are back online.
