Privacy Policy
1. Who this applies to
Cutiscan is a professional tool used by licensed aesthetic practitioners. There are two groups of people whose data is involved: the clinic user who holds the account, and the patients whose photographs and details the clinic enters. The clinic is the data controller for its patient records; we act as a data processor on the clinic's behalf.
2. What we collect
From the clinic account holder
- Email address and authentication identifiers
- Clinic name, practitioner name, address, contact number, clinic logo
- The list of procedures the clinic offers
From patient records entered by the clinic
- Patient name, age, sex and mobile number
- Facial photographs uploaded or captured
- Generated analysis data and PDF reports
Patient facial photographs are sensitive personal data. The clinic is responsible for obtaining the patient's informed consent before capturing or uploading any photograph.
3. What we do not collect
- We do not use facial recognition to identify individuals, and we do not build or retain biometric identity templates.
- Live camera frames used for framing guidance are processed entirely on your device and are never transmitted. Only the single still you capture is sent.
- We do not sell data, and we do not use patient data for advertising.
4. How photographs are processed
When a report is generated, the captured photograph is transmitted to our servers and passed to a third-party AI provider (Anthropic) for visual analysis. The photograph and the resulting analysis are stored in our database and file storage, hosted on Supabase. Photographs are retained until the clinic deletes the record or deletes its account.

6. Retention and deletion
Clinics may delete individual records at any time. Deleting the account, from Settings → Delete account, permanently removes the clinic profile, all patient records, all photographs and all generated reports from our systems, and deletes the authentication account itself. This is irreversible.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, export or erase personal data, and to object to or restrict processing. Patients should direct such requests to the treating clinic, which holds the record. Clinics may contact us at privacy@cutiscan.com.
8. Security
Data is transmitted over TLS and stored with access controls that scope every record to the owning clinic account. No system is perfectly secure; clinics should use strong, unique credentials and should not share accounts between staff.
9. Children
Cutiscan is for adult patients only. The application refuses to generate a report for a patient under 18. It is not directed at children and must not be used to analyse a minor.
10. Changes
Material changes will be notified in-app before taking effect.
Terms of Use
1. Professional use only
Cutiscan is provided for use by licensed aesthetic and dermatological practitioners and their trained staff. By creating an account you confirm you are such a practitioner or are authorised by one.
2. Not a medical device, not a diagnosis
Cutiscan produces AI-assisted visual observations and indicative treatment references. It is not a diagnostic tool, not a medical device, and not a prescription. It does not replace in-person clinical examination, and it does not exercise clinical judgement. All quantities, unit counts, thread counts, injection points, techniques and session schedules shown are indicative starting references drawn from general protocols, and must be confirmed or revised by the treating practitioner after examining the patient.
3. Clinical responsibility remains with the practitioner
You remain solely responsible for every clinical decision, for the safety of every procedure you perform, and for obtaining appropriate informed consent. Anatomical reference lines, injection points and danger-zone notes in this application are simplified aids for trained injectors; they are not a substitute for formal injectables training, product instructions for use, or your own anatomical assessment on the patient in front of you.
4. No outcome simulation, no guarantee
Treatment zone maps and marking diagrams are drawn on the patient's own photograph and are planning aids only. The Consultation Illustrator is a manual illustration tool driven entirely by the practitioner; the application does not calculate or predict how any volume of any product will change a face. Nothing in this application predicts, simulates or guarantees a post-treatment outcome.
5. Patient consent
You must obtain the patient's informed consent before capturing, uploading or storing their photograph, and before sharing any generated report.
6. Adults only
This application must not be used to analyse anyone under 18.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use Cutiscan to analyse a person without their knowledge and consent, to make marketing claims about guaranteed results, or in any way that breaches medical advertising rules in your jurisdiction — including restrictions on before-and-after and simulated-outcome imagery.
8. Availability and liability
The service is provided on an "as is" basis without warranty of uninterrupted availability or of the accuracy of any observation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend accounts used in breach of these terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Hyderabad, Telangana shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
